@TomErikSmith @zorbital An update here. We pushed a fix regarding a hyphenated words, but the fix applies to new lessons only. We will soon run a script to apply this to old lessons too but it will take some time.

When I click on a word, the previous word shows up in the translation. Not all the time, but enough to be pretty annoying.
What time to fix this problem?
I’ll jump in here with another issue that i proving difficult to work around.
Arabic or some other language has now replaced the hiragana explanation under a word. The text to voice to listen to the word is also not responding on these words.
I find it difficult to keep my study streak on LingQ when this issue is present…
Same goes for script settings. Romanji, Hiragana and Furigana all shows Arabic instead of what it’s supposed to show above the line.
I can’t find any settings regarding Arabic text on either the app or my phone.

I am new to LingQ (Day 2) and I’m finding a similar (same?) issue on the desktop via web browser. Except it is my furigana showing in hangul (Korean alphabet), romaji and “wrong” furigana on the same page. My reader settings are all set to show in hiragana.
Before I saw this post, I had just written to support asking some questions and included this not knowing if it was a “me problem” (before I sub).
Sometimes the site for some reason decides to change what is shown on the site (where one page starts). Whenever this happens it creates an offset where the wrong lingq is selected. Reloading the page often solves this issue for a minute or so.
just today i started noticing that when i click a lingq it will sometimes take me back to another page and no matter how many times i click on certain words it wont show the definition for that word but it believes im on another one. Its the first time this has ever happened to me.
I’m having the same issue as @scrubtaku. When I click on a word it gives me the definition of the previous word.

not sure if this suggestion was meant for me but, I’ve attempted (on Brave Browser):
- F5 - reloading site
- shift F5 - force reload the site
- sign-out / sign-(back)-in to the site
- close/reopen browser and sign-in to the site (my browser clears all caches on close)
- open site via “guest profile”
but the problem remains. I do not use any other browsers, but am considering if this get to be a bigger nuisance.
I’d be happy to try additional suggestions if they are within my ability.
This is a website issue; I’ve tried Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Windows, and Mac, and the problem persists.

I note this particular issue was theoretically fixed 8 days ago, but I am still encountering the exact issue (off-by-one error for text selection) for newly imported lessons (as are other users per links here in the last 24h: BUG that makes it impossible to use the site - #4 by len1984 and New bug - Reader really screwed up today - #3 by scrubtaku ).
I appreciate it’s a complicated system, but this feature is literally the core feature of the website. For what can be quite an expensive paid product at the premium plus tier, it’s not really acceptable to have core features break. When they do, it’s also quite unsatisfactory to have the support/updates be this “responsive” rather than proactive.
Refreshing the page isn’t helping, nor are any of the other suggested fixed throughout this thread.

I agree. I’ve been on this for almost two and a half months now, starting with my thread - Hyphenated words now count as one word? plus some bugs that this has introduced , on April 13th (I believe this is the first thread on the origins/beginnings of these bugs), and have been constantly told it will be fixed “soon”, as well as a several times being told that is has been fixed and the fix will be released, you guessed it, “soon”.
I’m sad that this is starting to cause more and more issues as time is going on, but in a way I’m happy because now a lot of people are starting to complain, and its not just me an a handfull of others reviving these threads every week.
Maybe something will finally happen now. 
What is going on Zoran? LingQ is unusable as is! Is there a fix in sight?
