Text in video lingq integration

One of the biggest pain points of lingq is in its video especially on mobile. Having to look away from what you are watching to use the site takes away from learning. It would be nice if there was a way to use lingq by clicking the subtitles directly on the video itself while it counts your words of reading and time listened.
Along side this feature could also be an automatic lingq creation feature for those who want a hands free experience.

Agree +1 Vote. This was suggested once again recently here: Use LingQ without importing lessons - #8 by Oshikuru (and I agree with also having a similar tool to Language Master where we don’t have to leave YouTube or a streaming service)

Rooster Tools / Language Master made a way to do this but from my experience it’s never been easy to set up. You may have better luck. I think it even requires some monthly subscription now as it added AI (or maybe not, Idk the site details and tools are so packed with information it confuses me unfortunatly). I wish LingQ would add this already.

For now this has been the best/easiest fix to set up (clickable link): LingQ Addon

Here is the thread with instructions: Change the default youtube size/location in lesson with Userscript - #6 by vet8t6z79pc4

But if LingQ would just add the ability to open the video to full screen and clickable subtitles to do the LingGqing, for a full screen video (web and mobile) then that would be epic.

I agree completely! It would be an excellent resource!

I liked Langauge Master but ended up spending time settingn it up and resetting it up.
Video learning sounds great. Practically for me, I often need easier vocabulary. I’d support Lingq making it work though (with shortcuts ).
