Obama says to Russians "Get out of my house!"

Okay, he didn’t say those words exactly.

So yesterday, Obama decided to double down by kicking out all the Russian diplomats in response to the alleged hacks (maybe they’re not alleged anymore, it’s been confirmed right?).

What does this say about the U.S. from an outsider’s perspective? Did Obama do the right thing? This seems like a new low when coming to U.S.-Russian relations.

And of course, Trump quickly jumps to Putin’s side by claiming he was smart to not do the same to the Americans. What the heck? Quickly taking sides with Putin over his own President?

Liberal logic – Trump is “taking sides with Russia” - by telling Russia it is smart they did not retaliate.

There are some people, especially teenagers, who never admit their mistakes and always shift their blame onto someone.
I believe that Obama is one of such people.
I don’t know any other American president who started so well and finished so awfully bad!..
And I remember only one person from the American politicians who always saw the Russian agents in the US and ended very badly: with the words ‘Russians come’ he throw out of the window.
His name was McCarthy.
Maybe Obama would like to have the same memory in the history?

Russian operation hacked a Vermont utility, showing risk to U.S. electrical grid security, officials say http://wpo.st/1Z9P2

GRIZZLY STEPPE – Russian Malicious Cyber Activity

I think that Obama’s comment is based on verifiable facts.

George W. Bush (junior) started decently well, but ended pretty bad. The economy was a mess!

Not to sound picky, but it’s McCarthy.

“according to U.S. officials” doesnt sound very much like a proof. Im not a Putin fan btw, but come on, since when the government (any) became trustworthy?

Thanks for your correction.

I think that Obana is a trustworthy person. He is not like the president who used to be a KGB agent. I neither associate Obama’s decision with McCathyism nor with Trumpism.

Are there still a lot of people in Japan who believe in all that Mass Media write?..

I know the difference between goverment propaganda and “investigative journalism” in the West.

"President Barack Obama’s ‘passive’ stance toward Russia is threatening American and global security, Republican senators John McCain (AZ) and Lindsey Graham (SC) said this morning on ‘America’s Newsroom.’

Speaking from Latvia with Eric Shawn, Sen. McCain said the Obama administration has ‘passively observed’ Vladimir Putin’s ‘gross violations’ of international law.

McCain said he doesn’t believe Russian cyberattacks changed the outcome of the U.S. presidential election, but said the meddling is ‘of the utmost seriousness.’"
‪McCain: Putin Is a Threat to the ‘World Order’ in Place Since WWII(Fox News)

The above excerpt is not from a news article in the “liberal” media.

Did the Russians hack the Democrats to help Trump? Maybe. There are also some other countries out there that preferred Trump - Israel being an obvious example. Just saying. (And I’m 110% pro-Israel myself, BTW!)

I do think the Liberal media should stop being so precious about this. These people would choke on their low calorie soup if they knew everything that the Western agencies are doing to interfere in other countries! What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, right? If there is an issue, it is that we weren’t able to protect our side from these hacks. That is something that should be looked at.

It’s also worth remembering that the information released was, ya know, TRUE…

Should Obama be playing these politics now, days before leaving office? Well, he’s trying to cause trouble for Trump from day one - which kind of makes sense from a partisan Democrat point-of-view.

The trouble is, it has backfired! The Russians are basically openly laughing at him, and saying “yeah, yeah, only another three weeks…and then bye-bye!”

Not to change the topic. What does the extra ten percent mean? Too much is as bad as too little.

Well then you should be well aware that this “Blame the Russians” disease that Obama has got is pure propaganda. He is unable to accept the fact that americans living outside of big cities disliked him enough to elect his complete opposite as his successor.

Too much? Impossible! :stuck_out_tongue:

BTW Can you imagine if a male NCO got to serve in one of these units? He’d fire so many rounds, that the barrel of his gun would literally fall off!

they did not dislike him they disliked his suceesour obama was still pulling more crowds than clinton in so called small cities when he campaigned they showed to see him rather than her which was the problem

putin has and idiot and a puppet coming in why would he expell u s diplomats.i have never met a grown straight man who just loves to hear people say nice things about him so much it changes his policies and temperament now every dictator ,strongman ,thug is calling from russian to the phillippines to syria is calling him to kiss his behind and whisper sweet nothings in his ear,

“Siding with a foreign adversary instead of the sitting president is a dramatic departure from normal diplomatic practice during this transition phase.
And Donald Trump may find himself alone in his admiration. President Obama has broad bipartisan support for his actions and a full hearing to discuss the hacking allegations has been scheduled in Congress next week.”
