That would be great. I had such a great response to my videos in Japanese, Mandarin and Korean asking for volunteers, I may attempt the same in these three Slavic languages. We hope to have 100 stories in all, so we will need many hands and voices.
I am also hoping that some people are inspired to write these kinds of stories in their own native language for us to translate. This would create more variety and cover some language aspects that are particular to those languages.
Could you post a new forum thread when the new Spanish mini stories are posted in the library? Thanks!
I know a few Bulgarian speakers, and have a fairly good set of recording gear. If I can find any of them willing to translate and record the stories in Bulgarian, and take along my microphone etc so that they can do so in high quality audio, will that be considered for going up on the site?
I am hoping to develop enough content in this mini-story series to add to our Beta list or promote Beta languages to supported. I don’t know what the threshold is but I think if we get 50 stories in Bulgarian we should be able to make it Beta. This would a base and we would need other content. The big problem with these languages is always that not many people are interested, however committed a few people may be to learning them.

Great. Well, I’ve got one potential volunteer who’s free in May for translating and recording; I’ll try to find more.
If we get volunteers for Romanian we will do Romanian.
Of course, I think that’s good idea. I can start new thread for each language when I start with uploading mini stories lessons in the library. I think first 10 Spanish lessons will be uploaded this tuesday or wednesday.

This idea is brilliant, but I have to say the mini stories are hard to find in the content library. I would suggest adding Ling as the course provider, so they can be filtered and found easier. Right now they have not been tagged with a provider, so the only way to find them is by searching the library for “mini”. Or following the links in this thread and others like it.
All content is difficult to find because there is so much of it. Searching by mini is the best thing to do right now. You can also follow people studying them so the appear in your feed.

Any updates on the mini-stories? By this rate we have them over 5 years.
Also I would help with the dutch ones but that is if I get my rewards when the russians are out. Haha yeah otherwise I see no point in ma reward :d
