LingQs are unusable for the last several days

Just two more weeks bro!

I heard they’re developing a new reader; I wonder if they’ll skip fixing the old one and just roll out the new version instead.

I sure hope not, because they told you that it will be a couple of months, and considering that this bug has been on schedule to be fixed “in a couple of days” or “soon” for the last three months now, it would mean that the new reader will only come out sometime in the next decade. Not to mention the tsunami of new bugs that will inevitably come with this grand “update”

But I’m not holding my breath, because they have been lying this entire time about this, and seem to now be pretending to be oblivious of what the problem even is. So I think they don’t ever intend to fix this. Unfortunately.

An update here from our developers. Our final decision is that, for now, we will not split hyphenated into multiple words. Instead, we are focused on delivering a new reader for all platforms.

Will the new reader then split hyphenated words?

This is how “consistent” LingQ deals with the hyphenated words.
