So do I. I’ve inserted many videos from youtube until yesterday. But now on Lingq tool can’t work not only with new videos.
I tried to reinsert some old videos, in order understand what happens, and it doesn’t still work.
Any help from the desk help please?
I use Chrome browser (version 137.0.7151.69 official version 64-bit)) and windows 10

I present here a kind of temporary solution to my problem with LingQ tool for importing videos from Youtube.
Using the YT:
I convert the YT video to mp3 file and save it to my computer
From LingQ platform choose the “Import” button
I choose “Audio” opt and select the desired file (mp3) from my computer
I put a text in “title” and “description” text boxes and press the “Add” button
After a while LingQ platform announced me that is running the “Generating Lesson” procedure
After a while, depending from the mp3 file size, I can see the lesson (without the original video) into the “Continue studying” domain.

By this way I could have the text and the voice of primary video at least.
Of course I’ll wait the solving of the problem.

The LingQ Extension doesn’t work anymore for Wikipedia articles.

I tried to check if there’s a problem on the article side by importing old lessons again. I realized though that I’m unable to import the old lessons again, leading me to the conclusion that there’s a problem with the extension itself.

I’m really hoping you’re going to fix this soon, as Wikipedia articles is the source of most of my lessons, especially for languages with not as much online presence like Catalan.

Youtube imports don’t work either manually or through the browser extension at the moment. It looks like the problem is related to an empty audio file in both cases.

My Firefox updated the add-on to version 2.3.4 today and now it’s broken for me too. Up to yesterday it worked without problems.

I am having the same problem. Firefox version 2.3.4

Seems to be working for me now but the problem with the Android app remains.

not to take away from your frustration, but i imported videos yesterday from youtube/ could be a browser issue or something along those lines?

I take back what I said. It worked with only one video, and then it stopped working again.

We will release another update, which should be today, that will cover new issues too on both Edge and Firefox. Chrome should be out this week too, Google takes more time to approve new versions.

This is an issue with Chrome and Lingq.

Has there been any updates on this? It is the sole reason I pay for this app.

Still not working on my Windows 11 machine on both Chrome & Firefox!

It’s working for me in Chrome with latest update, but only after I refresh the page of the Youtube video I want to import. If I don’t do that, it hangs on Importing, or I get an error message about no captions found.

Firefox is now working with no issues on my end with update 2.3.4. Might want to try refreshing the page in Chrome, and see if that helps/ works? I’m using Windows 11 as well.

@Pbeaudr231 We submitted a new version of Chrome extension too and hopefully Google will approve and list it soon.
