Really unfortunately.
Mark, I use both the mobile app and the website on my iPad but I only rarely use the mobile app. I use the mobile app on my phone for listening to stuff I have read and I use the app on my iPad for reviewing lessons that I have read when I am on a bus or a train, and therefore don’t have internet (it’s really cool that it downloads the Google TTS audio for the LingQs automatically so I can use them even without internet).
I use the website on my iPad for most normal LingQing. That means, I open lessons and read them and create LingQs. I find that the mobile app is basically useless for this purpose given how many bugs it has. The biggest problem is that a lot of the time, or maybe most of the time, when I create LingQs, the word turns yellow and then immedietely turns blue again. The LingQ is created but it looks blue until I refresh the lesson. There are other problems with the app, and I plan to write a longer post in a new thread some time soon, but I want to wait until all this stuff with the updates of the lesson page has died down.

@Colin I know what you mean about LingQing with the app on the iPad. We have been working on all those issues and our latest test version has fixed them all it appears. It is now awaiting approval to the app store so should be available soon.
Ok great. I look forward to it. I will probably write in detail some comments after using the update.
Going back to the lesson page on the website, it is a bit annoying on the iPad because it takes two clicks to change the status of a LingQ. For example, if I want to make a LingQ status 4, the first time I press the 4 button, I get the message “Learned - Review in 30 days” and then the second time I do it, the LingQ changes status.
Add an “Ignore All” button on the lesson page, please.
While that might be nice sometimes, that would mean manually moving words to known instead so I don’t think that would help that much. Also, we are not really looking for more controls on that page. There is enough happening. Don’t think we haven’t thought the same ourselves, especially on some lessons, but we have decided not to do that. It’s mostly not required.
Thanks for restoring the total words and unique words information. The new “Info Button” is quite a neat way of presenting the information.

in order to gain a coin i need to add 10 lingqs all in the same lesson, when ever i change a lesson, it starts the counter with 0 words.

Hi, my word counter is broke, every time I change from the lesson page it deducts one word.
I know the word counter is not so important but i think maybe due to this i have lost from 500-1000 words and having them added would really increase my perception of my progress!
Can this be fixed soon and all my lost words added on?

The Known Words count is tracked properly on our server but sometimes can get out of sync on the page as you are adding and subtracting known words. That is why there can sometimes be a slight change. Don’t worry known words are not getting lost and always trust the number that appears when you reload the page as it will be refreshed from the server.
It appears every time I select a new page I lose a word. I don’t know if its not counting properly, adding two instead of one and then correcting it.

There’s definitely something malfunctioning, I have just reviewed a lesson at the beginning I had 177 yellow and I then cleared 21 lingqs.
My internet had a few connection issues and I had to reload the page a few times as I was reviewing flashcards. As a result i was only credited with 16 known words to my account. I hope the admin, can recognise this activity and rectify the issue.
