I’m in the same boat, I would like an update to what’s going on as well.
We are still waiting on our developers to have the beta ready to launch. This is a massive project, and we need it to be functioning for you guys before launching the beta. I think Irish would be a good investment for LingQ. Its quite popular on Duolingo with over a million learners and could likely draw more people here.

I want to see Hindi added. How is it not there already? It’s one of the biggest languages in the world and people asked for it, what, 8 years ago? How do you have Gujarati but not Hindi?
Look, currently I’m importing podcast dialogue into lessons under Gujarati and I would be satisfied with that had it not be for the fact that the system fails to recognise devanagari words. Maybe I’ll have to use romanized words but that’s not ideal, is it? If Hindi doesn’t come soon, or at least see substantial support, then I may not be inclined to continue my subscription.

They gotta do what they gotta do, tho. Not so long ago they announced the new beta version on IOS, if I am not mistaken. They should release it soon, I presume

This seems to me to be a very sensible idea. It would save overloading the LingQ servers with lessons that are only glanced at and never read again.
Near the end of November now, please give regular updates as promised nearly 2 months ago.
We have a beta group testing the iOS app. Android beta is around the corner. Web is a bit further out.
We shouldn’t have leaked the news about the update so early in the year, so that’s our bad. Please be patient and know that we are not purposely going slow. We have a lot going on behind the scenes! Progress is being made every day.

As a regular LingQ user and looking forward to the new LingQ 5.0 software, I am keen to help see its development expedited. Is there a way for users to partake in the beta testing of the new iOS app to provide more testing manpower for the LingQ team?
Thank you for your offer but lack of iOS beta testers is not what’s slowing us down right now. It’s simply that we have a multitude of projects underway and these are all things that take time.
