I’m not really in the know as far as Canadian shows go. However people here mostly like to tease French people and Anglophone Canadians. Americans get a pass!

People oppose large scale immigration because of the problems it causes. The fact (if it even is a fact, but I suppose they had to come from somewhere) that humans entered the American continent from Asia doesn’t make this argumentation invalid.
