这是一期长达3小时的播客，为了能给其他用户分享方便学习，我将它切割为每段30分钟的音频分别转录上传(lingq每节课限制6000词汇)，一共有7段音频。
但是添加了原视频链接以后，按理说可以一边看视频一边学习，但是只有第一段30分钟的视频是正常的，后面每一段都是视频都是错位的，因为lingq的限制，导致后面每一段课程，都只能播放最前面30分钟的视频，这完全是错位的。
希望可以为长视频调整视频的时间轴，例如第一段视频是30分钟，那么我可以为第二段课程设置30-60分钟的youtube视频进度，第三段为60-90分钟的youtube视频进度，lingq现在只为了短一些的课程适配，没有为超长的课程适配，希望你们能适配这个

i just tried it and wow i got to say you guys did really great with this! I only tried it for a couple of minutes but my only feedback is that i wish you could just tap the video to make the definition go away to resume the video. I had to swipe the definition away to make it go away but other then that i would absolutely love to have this on desktop asap. I noticed that it also counted my words or reading and updated my coins just fine from what i could tell. Great job! Watching on mobile is really nice compared to before
EDIT lastly i wanted to add that having additional playback options in the future like shadowing mode would be very welcome but i understand things take time.
@lisanbao40 Could you provide links to the lessons created from that 3 hour podcast? This will help us figure out what happened.

shortcuts as per web
ability to go to next sentence + audio + translation and NEVER adding words automatically. You’re nearly there I think but the last bit spoils it.
better use of screen less wasted space & allow bigger typeface)

I can’t tell (on an ANdroid device) which lessons have videos to use the new Beta app.
My dekstop talks about an extention and then goes to YouTube.
……
I fixed dealing with underlying subtitles.
The subtitles aren’t keeping up with this video unfortunately. I don’t think it’s the YouTube subtitles’ fault.
Shortcuts please:
Make videos go faster or slower: Youtubt uses “shift &>” etc.
Play / pause
Next word: I’m not sure if this hsould stop the sentence or not
K for known. for whatever words pops up. Bad timing might make a word in the enxt sentence pop up so stopping at the end of a sentence if “next word” is selected might help.
1,2,3,4 although I stopped using these.
Previous sentence
If you only want to watch full-screen videos then there are a lot of unnecessary screens and clicks.
Overall, a really great addition to Lingq and thanks for listenign/ anticipating what helps comprehensible input.

How can I find video-only lessons?
This looks like it might have video but doens’t.
This jumps straight to YouTube (there seems to be two lesson that appear as one).

The message “This video doesn’t have subtitles” might need an “..in the selected language” if that’s a check,
This video does have Irish and English subtitles but I get the “no subtitles” message.
It would be great to work with playlists so we can add videos from other devices. Finding you tube videos with subtitles in my target languages and that work is more of a challenge tham I thought.
what time for test ios?
I’ve tried loads of YouTube videos that have subtitles and many don’t import.
4/3 I’ve given up on it after quite a few failed attempts at finding even Spanish videos that work. Irish? Greek? Sadly it takes too much time.
Update: I tried one more time and used search & the tag “YouTube”. This seems to work if there are YT videos already in the library, Adding a section for this and pin it to the top might work well. I don’t see it in some langauges.
Searching for “video” is what helps.
Helping with how to search on YouTube itself for videos that will work (can be imported and used in the video mode) would help. I found this a disappointing process.
Do you have any plans to test with iOS TestFlight?
Has functionaliy been removed? Videos no longer play in two languages; a pity.
What do you mean? You can select other audio tracks on the youtube video settings.
My Youtube menu within Lingq is in Greek - not helpful.
I now see I can ask for subtitles in English (thanks) @tiagosalvador .
But the English subtitles come up behing the Greek ones. I would like to see both.
If I click on the screen, the control buttons come up for 10 seconds and the subtitles are shown separately. Then it goes back to the bad way after a few seconds.
