I typically import from YouTube – read the lesson, and then watch the video while it is synced with the text. Every example I’ve tried today is putting up:
“Sign in to confirm you’re not a bot”
as soon as I click the Play button on the lesson.

Hmmm… I went through a couple of different videos and one from a different creator worked. When I went back to the one that I imported today after I posted this, it played this time. I’m not sure what’s going on. I tried opening the video in full screen, I clicked the message that YouTube to “learn more”, etc. Maybe something triggered it to recognize me as a human again. I’m not sure what it was. I’ll keep an eye on it and post again if I see it with another video.

This might be due to the browser blocking YouTube from tracking usage of the video, and hence it asks you to login. Have you tried other browsers? Have you tried adjusting browser settings relating to tracking?
turning off the VPN help me get rid of this issue.
