Hi everyone!
YouTube videos often come with multiple subtitle tracks, sometimes in different languages. I keep running into a recurring issue where the LingQ importer automatically selects the ‘Japanese’ subtitles, but I’d much prefer it to grab ‘Japanese (auto-generated)’. In this case, the ‘Japanese’ track is all romaji, which is pretty unreadable and unusable for learning in LingQ.
I think adding a drop-down menu in the importer so we can choose our preferred subtitle track would be a huge help! In the meantime, I’d really appreciate any suggestions for potential workarounds.
