Seems like the Dutch team doesn´t understand the offside rule…
This is actually the first game for this World Cup that has actually been so boring that I have turned it off before the full time whistle. The moment van Persie failed to put it away from a meter out, I decided to do something else.

I am sick and tired of this destruction football without scoring. Get rid of offside, move the goal posts etc.
I’m with Friedemann. The goals should be 20 meters wide and 30 meters tall, the goalies should not be allowed to touch the ball with any part of their bodies, and defenders should not be allowed in their own half!
…plus there should be no referee and there should be seven balls on the pitch at any one time!!!
Seriously, even though football enthusiasm is at an all time high, the games are much less entertaining than in earlier times, certainly so in the knock.out stage. What’s wrong with a reasonable overhaul of the rules?
I stand by my earlier suggestion that goalies should have to down a shot glass of Vodka every 5 mins after kickoff! 
(Mind you, even that wouldn’t work if you are going to bring on a new goalie just for a penalty shootout - a truly epic decision by Van Gaal to bring on Krul!)

You seem to be mixing up Euros and World Cups.
Given how few scorings there are and how narrow the margins are I guess all bets are off, it’ll be down to luck ultimately.
