Words with blank translation cannot be turned into links

At the end of a lesson, I always review the list of soon-to-be-committed-as “known words”, and regularly turn 1 or more into links by clicking on the ‘+’ button/icon.

Problem: sometimes the word I want to turn into a link has no translation (see image below), and in this case the button is inactive and I cannot prevent it from being marked as “known”.
