Is anyone here familiar with these sites?

Just watched an episode of El JardĂn de MartĂn where he recommended the first site for use with LingQ. His video is in Spanish but you can see here that thalia is what he uses for learning German in LingQ: Mi APP preferida para aprender IDIOMAS - (Tutorial de Lingq) - YouTube

Thalia is a legitimate website for purchasing books. There are also physical shops of Thalia all over Germany . I only purchased one book at Thalia.de online. I was able to import it in Lingq and was able to read it. It was an autobiography of Edward Snowden. Permanent Record. I am not sure about the other website as I have not used it myself.

I have used https://www.buecher.de/ for years and almost everything is sold without DRM (and so can be uploaded easily into lingq). I think most German booksellers sell epub without DRM.

Just purchased a couple of books from Thalia and all went according to plan…both are imported to LinQ.

Buecher.de has no way to accept payment from me, but before that I used them without issue w/ LingQ.

For the website Thalia how am I suppose to sign up if they want a address that’s located in Germany?

On Buecher.de I literally gave them my address and just changed the country code to DE. Might work. (I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice .)
