Just out of curiosity, what’s your favourite piece or pieces of classical music?
dang, I wish I can edit the title (but I can’t) and change it to “what’s your favourite pieces of music?”
I’d like to ask you to choose from 3 categories: classical, jazz, and retro (or 70’s music). I’ve been listening to Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan lately and before that I’d probably put something else…well, comparing to what we have now in popular music, I really think the 70’s music seems to strike a chord within me in terms of the lyrics. Jazz and classical are 2 of my other favorite genres.
What’s your suggestion?

I like French (classical) music of 20th century; Debussy, Ravel, Satie, Poulanc, Mihaud, also
Yes, I like Bach, Chopin, Mozart, Brahms, too, but I don’t listten to something like Mahler.
As for Jazz, I prefer Gershwin, Scott Joplin, etc to other modern Jazz, but I listen to Bipop like Charlie Parker.
