Maybe Mondly? It’s an app that teaches you basic sentences, grouped in topics.

Maybe you are referring to this recent thread, where people were discussing how to use AI language models with frequency lists, mostly taken from the wiktionary?

You can also try anki, there are several frequency decks available with sentences and audio.
