What is the "prompt" function in sentence mode? How can I modify it?

The prompt shows Japanese after clicking, and I don’t know how to modify or delete it.

The issue comes from this course.

An update here, It is a note, that was left by the owner of the course. Notes could be amended via Edit sentence, but only if a lesson isn’t protected.

I don’t think it’s a bug. It’s an option to add a note in the “edit sentence” setting.

Here is my experience using LingQ with a web browser.

Every lesson where I have checked appears to have the ability to add these notes.
Once a lesson has one or more notes, the presence of these notes is indicated by superscript numbers in the text, just like footnotes in printed books. The superscript numbers are visible in Sentence View, but invisible in Page View.

If a learner wants to view the contents of a note, the learner should click on the relevant superscript number once. The contents of the note will appear at the bottom of the screen. If the learner wants to hide the contents of that note, the learner should click on the superscript number a second time.

I have used this extensively in the Chinese (Traditional) slot.
