I have a question. ( Ich hätte eine Frage. )
“Die Zahl sieben gilt als Glückszahl.”
What is the original form of ‘gilt’, if it’s not a spelling mistake?
This sentence is from a litter book for German vocabulary published by NHK Shuppan.
