Web app: while studying a lesson, “Lesson Info” brings up Course Info or at least the Course List instead.
Thanks, we will look into it.
It’s still a problem as of today in the web app.
We don’t actually see an issue here.
The information on the Lesson Info modal (picture, title, words data, statistics) relates to the lesson, not the course. The only info about the course shown is the list of lessons included. The lesson info screen always looked that way.
Can you please tell me more about the issue? What exactly you think is different than it was before?
It’s because like so many things about the Lingq interface it seems obvious on your end. Because the list of lessons are also presented - unlike in the iOS version, I did not even notice the lesson information. My eye was immediately directed to the list of lessons – which looks like course information.
So on the one hand we can chalk it up to user error, on the other hand I find it unnecessary and confusing. Just show the lesson information. Why add in all the extra list of other lessons?

Because that’s the fastest way to switch to other lessons in the same course. I am sorry, but I really don’t think it’s that confusing. Lesson info is shown at the top, and other lessons from the same course are listed below, I don’t see anything that strange or unusual here.
Of course it’s a matter of opinion, but it seems like it would make a lot more sense to have “Lesson info” followed by a line for “View Course” (which is the label that appears elsewhere, than to combine both - unless you want to change the label to “Lesson info & View Course.”
Not only that, but I don’t recall this confusion until recently. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that this is a recent “enhancement.” Of course it’s hard to track the changes made to any of the Lingq apps, because it appears at least there is very little transparency and sparse updates regarding enhancements. Or is there publication somewhere that publishes this?
This is so true. There is just an updates section in the forum, but posts from the staff are few and far between. Often, we realise there has been an update because something is broken on the website.
@vernmartin We actually didn’t make any change there and the lesson info page always looked that way. I think you’ve got confused.
That’s fine. Would not be the first time. My opinion of the interface, for what little it’s worth remains the same.
