Using Netflix with Lingq

I’m curious how other people are using Netflix with Lingq.

So as far as I can tell, Netflix does not sync the video and audio with the transcript like it does with YouTube.

I’m trying to figure out a way to use small clips of conversations I like from shows (roughly 1-2 minutes long) and use it for intensive practice but I can’t seem to search for words in the transcript in any practical sort of way beyond going into the edit lesson button and command f to find a specific word.

I’ve tried recording the audio uploading it to Lingq then playing the scene in Netflix in a separate window so the timing matches but it’s not super practical and the recording quality isn’t particularly great, though the whisper feature manages to capture the audio pretty well.

Another alternative would be to record my screen, privately upload the clip I want to YouTube and import a lesson like any other YouTube lesson but again it’s just not super practical.

I may end up just using Netflix on its own and writing out the script by hand of the specific scene I want to use, and just accept that I can’t incorporate Lingq into this particular exercise, but wanted to voice this in case there’s an obvious trick I’m missing.
