I would really appreciate the ability to add a delay between sentences in page mode. Like pause 2 or 3 seconds between sentences.
At say A1 level, many students will still be struggling with listening comprehension. I find that I need time to process and make sense of a spoken sentence. If the next sentence follows too quickly then I quickly lose track of what is being said. (Sentence mode is very valuable for initial learning, but I am effectively suggesting something intermediate between sentence and page modes.)
So, yes of course I could use sentence mode and proceed manually from one sentence to the next but this is both clumsy and unnatural. You can often be at a comprehension stage between sentence and page modes where, given time, you can comprehend a sentence but not if the audio stream is too fast.
For this I would like the naturalness of page mode where I know that the audio stream will continue automatically but where I have a bit of extra processing time per sentence. Nor do I necessarily want the extra time provided by slowed down speech - I want my ear to tune in to the speech at normal speed. But extra processing time after each sentence would be valuable.
Alternatively, this feature could be implemented in sentence mode but with automatic proceeding to the next sentence with a variable delay.
