Unexpected token '<', "<!doctype "... is not valid JSON

Hello everyone,

I’m new to Lingq and I’ve been encountering the following issue. Everytime I try to upload an ebook, in any format, I get the following error message:

Unexpected token ‘<’, "<!doctype "… is not valid JSON

Anyone know how to fix this? Thank you very much in advance!

When did you start experiencing the issue? How many books have you tried to import?

Hi,

I’ve experienced this issue since Wednesday of last week.

Since then I’ve tried to upload around 6 or 7 ebooks, in varying formats, such as EPUB, PDF, and TXT. All files have had DRM removed, if applicable, and I’m still getting the above error message.

Are you 100% sure that there is no protection on it anymore?

Yes, I’ve doubled checked using multiple programs.
