Unable to Remove Imported Lessons

I have imported YouTube videos and books previously and went through the lessons and now am trying to delete them from Continue Studying. I click on the Green + sign and select Delete lesson and get a message “Failed to Delete Lesson” .

I have tried at both the Course Level and Lesson Level and these lessons do not get deleted.

Using the web version of the app with latest Microsoft Edge version.

All these lessons are Private, and not shared.

I have successfully deleted both Lessons and Courses in the past, but now it does not seem to work.

If you have shared these lessons, and anyone else has used them and not removed them from their Continue Studying shelf, then you will not be able to delete them.

You can check to see how many other people have your lesson on their Continue Studying shelf by clicking the 3 dots next to the lesson title on a shelf, selecting “Edit Course”, and looking at the “IN USE” number next to the lesson. If it is greater than 1, then you will not be able to delete it.

Thanks, but these lessons are all Private, not shared.

You may want to look at that “IN USE” number anyways.

Most are at 0, a few at 1; none over 1.

I noticed one thing different on the courses I am trying to delete, is that I added a book cover image to these that will not delete. I do not see a way to remove that image, only a way to replace it with another one.

Just a thought for a possible reason the delete does not work.
