Two clicks to see the definition of a known word?

When clicking on “known” words, a box pops up to enter a new meaning and then one needs to click the down arrow to either remind me of the definition or to click on one to remove it from known.

The first box is totally useless. Is there a setting to get it to open up the second box automatically?

Once you click on the arrow to extend the view (this is only required for the closed sidebar), it should then show an expanded view automatically the next time you click on a white word.

Thank you for replying Zoran.

Every time I click on an unknown word, (in Chrome on Win11) I have to click the down arrow also.

I guess I’ll just open up the side bar.

Also, when will the IOS app support physical keyboard input?? As it is, I need to use the browser when I use my iPad in order to use the key commands.

This appears to be only true if you leave the box open (which you are probably not going to do, as it is in the way). Once you close it you have to click the down arrow again when you open the next known word.

They have recently introduced shortcuts to access the dictionaries and tags. Press D and T respectively. I wish they would have been more thorough and introduced the same shortcuts as for the browser, but i suppose it’s better than nothing. Android users are still waiting.
