What does mean . " Why have you given me a great schonk?"…???
I’ve never heard the word schonk and according to webster’s dictionary it is not an english word.
There is some evidence that it is a dutch word meaning gift.

In Dutch you have the verb “schenken, schonk, geschonken” which means “to give as a present”.
For example: Mijn vader schonk mij een boek. = My father gave me a book as a present.
