When I upload a text and I ask it to show translation, the translated text doesn’t match the original. The spacing is not proper. The text is smaller, so it takes less space, and the display doesn’t take this into account. The translation takes almost half the space of the original.
Also, I’m words are cut in half when spilling to the next row. Even letters are cut in half.
There should be some way to fix this to make it actually readable.
All of what mariusmorar has noted occurs for me in both German and Danish. It is the same if the lesson is long or short. The small text and the lack of spacial lineup does not worry me, as I can work out the word for word correspondence quite easily. The problem of the words being cut up, with lots of the letters half or fully missing, makes using the the page translation pretty well useless.

This is the main way I would be using Lingq. Listen and read with the translation on.
I’ve been using ChatGPT to create interliner translations and reading them with Readlang, but that involves creating my own content which takes time. I’d love to explore the content already available on Lingq, but I don’t want to have to click on every word. I just find that very inefficient. I’d rather spend the time reading as opposed to clicking. Also, I like the translation being right below or above the word I’m reading as opposed to having to shift my eyes to the right and then back to the text and spend time finding where I was.
Translation works if the text is composed of short sentences and the layoug is one sentence per line. But I find it unreadable for any text that is longer than one sentence per line.
I bought an annual subscription a while back and I’ve love for this to be fixed so I can start to use Lingq.
