Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crash - Wikipedia (shorten: Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crash - Wikipedia)

A great tragedy for all the families involved. The fact that it was a hockey team makes us more aware of this kind of tragedy. But in fact life is fragile, for all of us. We need to value each and every day.

The interviews here on Canadian TV with Canadian players and coaches who have worked in the KHL in the past, indicate that the safety standards of the charter airplanes used by the KHL teams left a lot to be desired. Hopefully they will improve their standards.
