I’ve used LingQ daily for over 6 years and I’ve played around with different settings over the years. And I know it can be tricky to navigate as there’s a lot of different choices and customizations (which we all love!). And I totally agree with the following excerpt from your guide. I only wish that LingQ would realise their mistake and turn this off by default. The sad thing is that even with this OFF, on the last page of each lesson you can still accidentally move all the words in the whole lesson to known with no way to undo it. That also needs to be changed, or at least made foolproof so that it never happens against a user’s wishes.

This will mark all words as “known” on the page when you accidentally turn the page. It’s definitely the most frustrating default setting that you want to change right away.
I totally get why the Paging Moves to Known exists - it saves a lot of time if you’re already at a level where you known quite a few words when you start using LingQ. But I agree that it should be OFF by default.
Yes browser only, not sure how to do it on the phone/tablet in LingQ.
But that Fastfont seems to work on Kindle as per the installation guide for that font.
Thank you, great for the community, but I do not use the phone app, only desktop. I find a 24" screen far more useful than a 4" one! However reading your guide shows me that they put more development in the phone app than in the desktop.
I like having it on for Spanish but definitely do not want it on for Arabic… sadly it can’t be set as different depending on the language, so I have to remember to change it back and forth
I think the desktop version works fine and even have some advantages. I just prefer the phone because of how “mobile” (no pun intended) it is. I often read here and there whenever I get a chance and rarely sit down on the computer to read. However, the desktop has almost identical settings to the phone (the one key one that’s different I mention in the post) so you can still use the guide.
