The linguistic richness of many countries

The linguistic richness of many countries is one of its most distinctive and identifying characteristics. Take for example the case of India.

In this giant country 1,650 languages are spoken, of which about 400 are used as communication languages. Of that true Tower of Babel, the vast majority of its inhabitants (75%) speak the 22 main ones that are recognized by the Constitution. Even so, the educational system contemplates instruction in 60 languages, among which there are 11 classified as minority or tribal.
