I spent 5 to 10 minutes trying to figure out how to import using the iOS app. I eventually discovered a button which is very well hidden.
It is bottom right, and notice the absence of the Import label. It blends in with the video almost as if you’ve tried to camouflage it. I never expected it to hover in front of a video.
Import doesn’t work, but that’s another issue.

At the bottom of the screen I have the thumb up, the thumb down and then “delen” , which is Dutch for “share”. II click on “delen” and get all sorts of possibilities to share the video with others, among which LINGQ.
I think you are referring to the YouTube app. My comment relates to the iOS LingQ app.
