I’ve been learning Thai for a while now, so I have some nice resources saved for later which would be perfect for LingQ imports. Thai is amazing.

Is this still the case? I’ve heard Esperanto doesn’t have all of them, but still got released. Is the policy changing and we can have more beta languages even with incomplete stories?

I hope so. I think the policy is needlessly restrictive. I never use the mini stories, as I find them incredibly dull. The thing I find revolutionary about LingQ is that it offers uniquely personalized content, giving me the ability to learn through content I find interesting to me as an individual, and it does the same for you, and for everyone else.
So in those terms, mini stories, with their “one-story-fits-all” approach, appear to me to be counter-revolutionary.

Now we have Vietnamese and even Khmer, but not Thai.

It’s true. I mean some of the Mini Stories for various languages have AI generated audio, which although I’m not a fan of, I’m surprised they didn’t just use the same process for Thai.

I’m glad that Thai is being worked on, hope it gets done soon as I’ve been waiting for over 2 years for the update. Would love to use this app for learning Thai, think it would help me so much.

I would very much love Thai to be added. It is one of the languages I have really wanted to learn for a while. Hopefully it is added before the new year

I completely agree with the previous comments. I would love to have Thai available on LingQ. I’m not particularly interested in the mini-stories; my main focus is on importing content and engaging in reading and listening.
Please consider adding Thai! I would be a paying customer on the very first day you release this feature!

Where do we stand on this? I’m trying to catch up on the discussion. If it’s a matter of all the interested Thai learners pitching in to a Go Fund Me to get audio recorded, sign me up. Very eager to see Thai on LingQ
