Platform: web and Android app.
Problem:
When I import this one page from the BBC web site, the LingQ process succeeds BUT 99% of the imported text does not match at all the web page contents.
The first paragraph is correct, but after that the rest of the imported text (see 2nd image below) is nowhere to be found in the source web page. Though, this text is related to the article subject, as if it was an older and/or much shorter version of the current contents.
I tried importing another page from the same site and it worked fine.
URL: Christa Pike sobrevive a dos dosis de inyección letal durante su ejecución y se encuentra hospitalizada en Tennessee - BBC News Mundo
Source page:
Imported text:
Seeing that the text was updated 28 minutes before you made the screenshot, maybe you imported the old version and just minutes later the text was udated/changed on the web page!?
[Or maybe you had the web page with the article open for a while and imported the lesson without refreshing the page… so you did not realize that there has been made an update already.]
That may have played a role but that’s not the whole story: the first time I noticed the discrepancy, the imported text matched the beginning of now current version, but its size was only a third of it.
Anyway, I can no longer reproduce it, so we’ll have to ignore it. It was a fluke.
