Stop recognizing " as a part of the word

Is it possible to stop recognizing “ as a part of the word. Some changes recently cause words begin or end with “ be recognized as new words, for example:

עכשיו

“עכשיו

עכשיו”

are considered three different words. This significantly inflates the known words count. Especially when there is a dialogue in the paragraph, every first word of a sentence is recognized as new word.

Even ignore will not solve this problem as ignored words will automatically change back to blue when close then open the lessons again.

Hello @Xuzhe Thank you for reporting. Could you please provide an URL of the lesson for example. And also do you use mobile clients or WEB browser?

It happens to all Hebrew lessons, regardless if I use the Chrome browser or LingQ app for iOS.

Here is link to one lesson that is more conversation-based, therefore is more prominent in counting words begin with ” as new words:

דוד and דוד”

פעם and פעם”

תראה and “תראה

etc., each word in all those pairs counted as two different word which inflate vocabulary counts.
