I’m using Safari on my iPad and the sound isn’t working. It works for one or two review words and now it’s not working at all. I’ve closed and reopened it many times, my headphones are working on every other website and app and I have no idea what the problem could be

Btw another user complained about the same problem and he said it started working for him after he restarted the device. Maybe give it a try if you haven’t already.
