Snooker German - a new branch of linguistics?

I have only ever followed Snooker in England but have recently come across the coverage of the UK Masters on German Eurosport. Wow, what have they done to the German language?! A totally new vocabulary. Are there any other languages that simply have assimilated the technical expressions of Snooker without much effort at translating them? (I know it has happened in football but that was fairly slowly, at first there were German expressions which have now simply been cast aside.)

I suppose nowadays specific terms usually are borrowed from English. Sometimes people (at least in Russia) argue about these terms, but only about spelling of these new words, they do not bother with translating at all. But the champion in borrowing is Japanese. It seems they have borrowed every English word already!

Oh good, then when I come to learning Japanes I will already know it!
