"Show Vocab in Sentence View" toggle not taking effect in iOS

Hi, in the latest iOS app running on the latest public version of iOS, I cannot hide vocabulary from the sentence view. Dropbox - ScreenRecording_10-02-2024 14-31-20_1.mov - Simplify your life

I’ve done my best to ignore it, but it makes it very distracting for me to be able to focus on the sentence with the temptation to look at the definitions below.

I’ve tried crashing the app after enabling/disabling the option in the settings, and I can’t get it to take effect. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling LingQ, still no effect. Is there any workaround I can try to make this work, or is this a known bug that is on your radar?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @zoran Thanks for the reply. Any progress? It’s driving me crazy and making it very hard to focus when studying, I still haven’t adapted to having all those words there pulling my focus away from the sentence I’m trying to read :frowning:

No updates yet, but our developers are aware of the issue and it should be fixed in the next app update.
