I can’t find a dictionary as thorough as LingQ. Is there a way to use the dictionary function by itself when I’m reading something in a paper book or I see a sign I need to translate?
You can download Linguee dictionary app on your iphone etc. It comes in many languages English-Spanish, English-German etc

try downloading the dictionary to your phone. this will make it easier to use. or use the business translator Business Translation Services | Translate.com when I needed to translate documents for a visa, they did the best job (the translation was done according to standards, quickly and without errors)
