Any thoughts from people following Japanese politics on the resignation of the Hatoyama cabinet? Is the LDP coming back?

I am not a political person, and don’t have any strong opinion about the issue.
AS for the support rate of the LDP, I’ve just found this online:
“Only 17 percent chose the opposition Liberal Democratic Party, down from
20 percent in the previous survey.”
