I don’t have time to study every day. When I take a break for one day or two, I inevitably get an email telling me that I’ve interrupted some streak and that I can repair it with coins.
What is the purpose of repairing a streak? And what is the purpose of streaks anyway?

There’s no purpose to it besides motivation. I find it helpful to keep me going and dissuade me from skipping on a lesson too many times in a row.
I usually try to keep a streak going in the “main” language(s) I’m focusing on at any one time, and don’t care about the streak in some others that I jump in and out of for fun. Which language is in which category changes every few months.
