What happens if I “remove” a LingQ from my vocabulary list? Does it still exist for everyone else?

I think it still does exist regardless of you removing it on your end, but I’m not sure.
I would be very interested in the answer to this question, too.
I tried to delete them but I was still given the message that I had reached my limit of 20. Either I did not delete them correctly or I did not delete them as all. Are the lingqs the word which you mark as unknown?
