I use the IOS App and I’ve have many times now a situation that I accidentally manage to get all words changed to known words at the end of the lesson. I don’t have the automation for this set meaning the “paging moves to known”.
First of all I’ve noticed that the APP doesn’t do paging correct so accasionally the the APP jump over a page and today it occured that with one swipe it managed to go to the last page and then somehow move all to known. This is a problem because the lesson had over 100 words that I haven’t reviewed. There is also no way of undoing or filter the words so that I could manually move them back to unknown or level 1.
I assume that the “end of the lesson” might also move words to ignored. I know this because I had a word “slutmix” that I know what note even an lingq, so now I cannot filter that word and get a result. The vocobulary only let’s you filter 1-5, now ignored. That information is there in the system, but I cannot filter it or I assume it is there. So, easiest way would be to filter the “ignored” and restore those words.
It’s good that the UI of the app if fluent but now it seems that it’s too fluent as it can accidentally jump over the page and by accidentally clicking all to known.
I guess this is the third time this has occured. I don’t collect known words, I want to learn words. It’s not really that fun to try to set back 100 words so that you can learn them properly.
Would it be possible to change the functionality so that, or implement the easiest, that is the lowest option
- you could “undo mass changes”.
- Add filtering options so that in vocabulary you could filter by “creation date descending” and “creatation date ascending”
- Change the UI so that it wouldn’t take accidental clicks by requiring a short delay after clicking something, like “move all to known” etc.
- When showing the coin count in the stats, by clicking, show what lingqs correspont to that coint count.
- Allow users to filter words that are ignored
