I’ve only just come across a moving song/video “Es ist an der Zeit” by Mey, Wecker and Wader. If you like contemporary German music, it’s a find. It is actually quite a find for me for the lyrics, because most protest songs I know date from the 30s, 40s or 50s. Well worth studying.
From what I can see Bettina Wegner has/had quite a name in the German speaking world. Thank you!
Curiously enough I prefer the softer sounds of Wader, Wecker and Mey, I sometimes have a problem with certain women’s voices. They hurt my ears.
