When I try to import content from anisub.tv that I can only access through my active subscription with anisub (e.g. chapter 4 of all series forward) the Chrome plugin shows the following error “Error: Importing failed - list index out of range”.
Does this mean that it is not possible to import a whole anisub series to lingq? I wanted to use some series inside lingq (audio+text) and this would be very inconvenient, it’s like only the public parts would work.
Same thing happens with movies, although in my active subscription with anisub.tv I can see the subtitles of the whole movie, when importing using the chrome plugin it only import the free subtitles, which do not cover the whole movie.
Can you give it another try now? Importing should work. Also, please note that paid content from the site can’t be imported, our importer can only grab and import content that is available (free) to everyone. Doesn’t matter if you have paid subscription at AniSub or not.
Hello Zoran,
Ok, so there is no website as for today from which lingq can import anime with audio and text, please can you confirm that?
From Anisub lingq can only import a few chapters but not complete series, and same thing from movies, lingq only import a few subtitles but not the complete script.
This is super inconvenient because the audio sync system is not usable, I have the audio of these series but sync sentence by sentence would take too many hours/days. I can think of many solutions to speed up this work but it seems that the lingq team is not working on it at the moment. Is there anything related to this on the roadmap?
Thank you Eric, I know this website (it’s a very good resource), but what it has to do with this topic?
What’s sad is that I have the audio for a lot of this content, but syncing phrases with audio on the current system is a real pain. What could be done in 15-30 minutes would take you hours with the current system.

Are you able to find the .srt files for your audio? You can manually import .srt files into LingQ and they should properly sync up with your audio. I noticed that there are lots of sites that let you download .srt files from anime.
Also, I’ve asked the dev team about the ani.sub situation to see if this is something that will be worked on.
Thanks Eric, please let us know if anything changes with anisub or animelon imports.
About the audio, the problem is that what I use are condensed audio files (which only have the spoken parts), so the SRT timing does not work for me. If I had the complete audio of a chapter/series and the SRT of the chapter, how could I import it in lingq so that they are synchronized? Is there any tutorial about it?
Anyway, I think it would be good for Lingq to improve the sentence synchronization system.
