My current balance is 513 points, but when I try to submit writing for 513 (or 506) points the system tells me that I need to buy an additional 40 (or 36) points.
I can’t understand why.

Sometimes the calculation on the page is slightly different from the calculation in the system when you submit. The calculation is more accurate in the system and this is the one we use when checking how many points you have. It is confusing and we will be fixing this issue in the future but in the meantime can you just delete a few words until you are able to submit your writing.
