Lately, perhaps triggered by the addition of one new track to a playlist, previous tracks are downloaded again. I started seeing this only recently. Why is that necessary?
I am not familiar with any changes there. I asked our team to check that. Thanks for reporting.
i have the same issue. even despite the app tells me that audio cache is over 6 gb.
i saw this bug in the morning and decided to reinstall the app just in case, but seems like its not smth i’ve done myself to make this thingy appear
just a reminder that the bug is still there.
the playlists’ files want to redownload after some time of using the app as if they were not downloaded.
however, if the app is closed and opened again, all the downloaded lessons are there.
Thanks, I forwarded this to our team again.
@zoran
I noticed today that I added another lesson to a playlist and then watched it download to the iPhone.
A half hour later or so, I went out for a run and wanted to start playing that lesson, but it had to download first (again).
Same issue for me today.
Hi!
Are there any updates on this problem? This bug is still there.
No updates here, sorry. I’ll check with our team what is the status.
Still happening for some reason.
Saw this again today with multiple playlists.
@vernmartin Thanks for letting me know. I’ll check with our team.
starting from today the playlists just keep re-downloading even after the app restart (used to be a quick fix). not to mention how tiring it is when i want to listen to a sentence but all of a suddent the audio “has not been downloaded”…
i understand its not a payment-related issue but please its been around 6 months already
@nemnogonenado Thanks, we will look into this.
It was odd today: I added a couple of lessons to an existing playlist expecting I’d want to download those two before I left home and while still on wifi. Instead all 30 tracks were downloading.
Hope this gets fixed soon. It’s very annoying. I have to check every playlist I might choose to listen to before I leave the house to make sure lessons download again.
The great benefit of Lingq playlists, when this problem did not exist, was the lessons are downloaded. I can go anywhere and listen on my iPhone whether I have internet or not.
