Playlists disappear from Library

I have many playlists open because I use them for different groups of students. This has basically worked for a long time. Suddenly today I am getting messages from my students that their playlists have disappeared.

I checked on my computer and the missing playlists are still marked as shared, but they do not show up in the library. This is NOT good.

I have 17 still open, but 9 won’t show up. Was some change implemented that has hidden all of these at once?

We have never been told of a limit before although on occasion, I have had to close down a playlist to make another appear. But this is rather unusual.

I shut down a bunch of playlists, but this made no difference. There are playlists that are supposed to be visible that are not.

I made a totally new playlist and tried to make that appear. It does not show up.

I rebooted my computer. Nothing.

This is NOT good!

@Jingle Sorry, that sounds like a bug. I asked our team to investigate asap.

I appreciate that. Thank you.

Is anyone else having a problem with playlists, or is it just me?

@Jingle We haven’t received other complaints but it’s possible that other classrooms are affected too. We are looking into this.

This is a growing problem for me. I have five groups of students to whom I must send individual lesson links since my prepared playlists aren’t working for them (or for me).

(It is frustrating for the students as well.)

@Jingle We pushed a fix that should deal with this problem. Are you still experiencing the same bug now?

Sorry. I didn’t see your answer here. Each day I have been checking in the app to see if the feature worked, but I didn’t see this.

No. I still cannot share playlists. All the playlists I am trying to share show up in the classrooms under courses or playlists shared. But only some classrooms have visible shelves on the desktop. This is true for me as well as for my students.

I did clear my cache for LingQ.

I share the same playlist with two different classrooms. One classroom can see it and the other can’t.

I can also see this shelf. The other playlists that are shared with the “nonworking” classrooms, do not show up for me either. (I can still access the lessons, but I have to search for them by name.)

@Jingle Strange, but we are unable to reproduce this issue on our end. Can you let me know the name of the Classroom that can’t see the Playlist and the Playlist name? Thanks.

I will send you an email.

Did you solve this problem? I seem to have the same

@JulianiTOgo What is your classroom name? Can you please tell me more about the issue you are experiencing?

@zoran The classroom code is BMVB.

The problem is that none of the uploaded and shared playlists appear to my students nor can they in any way access the classroom.

Yes, the problem is resolved for me.

@JulianiTOgo Can you please reach me at support@lingq.com? I will need some additional information from your regarding this as I am unable to reproduce the issue on my end.

Thank you, please let me know if you need more information. I sent you the email.

We can now see the courses but when we click on them we are directly sent to the home page. Is it supposed to be that way? And if yes, where could we find the shared lessons?

I replied to your email with more information. Please take a look.
