What is happening to pinyin? when the blue option appered recently it was usually showing the correct and complete pinyin, now, instead of showing the correct pinyin, or the two options, it is just showing words in english as a translation (sometimes not even a correct translation). Sometimes it even replaces the pinyin over the text.
So you have Pinyin enabled under the Settings > Reader?
