As a new user I may be missing something, but it asppears that what determines a phrase when trying to create an entire phrase as a Linq must be progam-generated by some formula other than the natural flow of the language. It would be extremely helpful to have the flexibility to create linqs with stopping and starting points determined by users so as to provide more accurate or fully nuanced translations.
When you click on a word, you do get list of related phrases which you can create LingQs from, however you can also create LingQs for any phrase manually. Just highlight a phrase you want to save (maximum 9 words at once) and you can make it as LingQ same as you do with individual words.
Thanks. It’s the 9-word limitation that sometimes creates a problem. I’ve found that I can sometimes improve the situation by shortening the lingQ.
