Hello, I attempted to import three videos after the new AI import function was implemented. two from the ARTEDE YouTube channel and a second historical one. These are lengthy files, and even after trying to upload them for more than ten hours, I am still unable to open them. I try to delete them and try again, but I can’t do it. So what can I do about it?
It takes time, I imported some videos this morning and they got ready in 6-7 hours
I have a couple of pending lessons like this since forever. I guess I will have to redo them when I have time. Fortunately I saved those videos.
Same here, I tried to import a long video (30 mins), but I got an error after a couple of hours. I tried later with a shorter video (7 mins), it seemed that it was processing for some hours then now, when I try to open the lesson this error always pop up: “You do not have permission to perform this action.” It’s frustrating.
this is why we need the option to import the old way for videos with only youtube generated subtitles. I find myself having to make sure the words are real a lot more now (whisper will guess a word, and then I look it up in the dictionary and it doesn’t exist at all, can’t even find it in a google search).
LingQ, please allow us to learn efficiently like we used to. The only difference for the user would be to have an option “use advanced captions (this will take x time)” otherwise it imports the old way. To me, this was a beta feature pushed to prod.
I thought the issue was Youtube disallowing this.
I’m trying to import Mp3 files. Files of the length I’m importing would normally only take 5 minutes to import. Now they’re not importing at all. What’s going on LingQ?
I asked our team to check this. Thanks for reporting.
